Position eligibility in basketball is always a little stranger than it is in other sports. Part of it might be that the position designations are a little iffy at times. Teams don't always have two guards, two forwards and a center on the floor. Besides, I don't think Yahoo has any set minimums for position eligiblity for hoops. It just is whatever they say it is. You might petition their fantasy sports people to see about getting this player's eligibility changed. If it's the player that I'm thinking of, I imagine quite a few other people have had the same complaint.

I think that Yahoo Fantasy Games makes it mandatory for the player to play 10 games at the position before they become eligible.
