Good Pickup.........?????

Question

Standard Yahoo Public league. Standard 5x5 categories. Head to head scoring.

Someone recently dropped both Felix Hernandez and Travis Hafner. I have the #1 waiver priority, so I can get one of the 2 for sure. My question is....should I use the #1 waiver on one of these guys? And if so, which one and who should I drop?

If possible, pick them both up as they are both better than your two worst players. If you can only get one, I'd get King Felix.



Your pitching is better than your hitting, but you can always trade away a good SP, and Felix is probably more valuable than Hafner anyway. I would probably drop either Mike Jacobs, Michael Bourn, or Clint Barmes. Barmes' hot streak won't last and Jacobs is inconsistent from month to month. Bourn can get a ton of SB's, but his BA will really hurt you. It also seems like you have some good speed on your team anyway.

I would drop Jacobs for King Felix. I have no doubt that Felix will get on track....Hafner I have a lot of doubts. Jacobs is just coming off an injury and his chances of keeping up the power numbers are slim.



Chris Young just went on the DL and wasn't doing that great before. He would be my second choice if you have your heart set on Hafner and Felix.



Also be aware that Felix has a calf injury but is scheduled to start on Saturday. Watch him closely

Get rid of Chris Perez, hes pretty much worthless compared to King Felix.



Then drop Micheal Bourn and pick up Pronk, to the guy that said he is no good on so many levels, that is a very irrogant comment seeing as that he has tons of potential, but he just hit a rough spot and when he comes back on track he will be phenomenal.



If you can only get one go with King Felix, but you should really pick up both of them.

i say drop chris perez for sure, and pick up king felix, he gets alot of k's and has a decent era and doesnt walk a lot of hitters, i have him on my team, and havent been disapointed yet..
