OK I know they arent the best picks to choose from...

But which of these two QBs do you think will have a better year, fantasy football-wise?

J.T. O'Sullivan (49ers) or Matt Ryan (ATL)?

Your opinions, please!

Thanks!

Well, they're both rookies so you should do it week by week and see how they play. Start the one who's playing the weaker opponent week one and go from there. If one has an outstanding week, play them in week 2 and go on from there. Therefore I would start Matt Ryan week one.

Responding to the guy under me, both of them are starting. Just recently the Falcons told the press that he's starting.

I'd go with O'Sullivan for a couple of reasons. (1) He has been in the league since 2002 and has been with a few teams, most recently he has had opportunity to observe Mike Martz's offense from the Lion's sideline last season. (2) His play during the pre-season has really impressed me. He's an accurate passer and can lead the team down the field. (3) He has a quality RB in Gore who defenses have to respect, meaning that a play-action pass play will keep the linebackers in the box for that extra second that will give the WRs space in mid field.

I think Matt Ryan has more talent and will start to play well mid way through the season. Jt may start out better but i bet alex Smith will be starting towrds the end of the season

i take it your in a rookies only leauge I think Matt Ryan will have the better season out in ATL, he has better recievers than Sully (ie. Roddy White) and a much better O-Line so I would go with Ryan as your starter

OSullivan. He is in martz's system, and already knew the system from his days in detriot. Ryan is a rookie and rookie qbs never post meaningful fantasy stats. Ryan's main job in atlanta at this point is to hand the ball off to turner.
