Question:
Peyton Manning or J.T. O'Sullivan for Week 3?

I know it seems like a ridiculous question, but those are the guys I've got, and I need to decide who to start this week.

Peyton hasn't done anything spectacular this year, and is kind of underperforming my expectations (he's gotten me 16 and 14 points for Weeks 1 and 2). O'Sullivan got 21 points in Week 2 alone. Combine that with the fact that O'Sullivan is playing Detroit, who has possibly the worst defense in the NFL (23rd Pass, 32nd Run), and I'm seriously considering giving him a shot.

Or am I just being crazy?

In the past, that would be a crazy question. But, I'd roll the dice and go with O'Sullivan. Indy plays Jacksonville and I don't think Manning's knee is completely healthy.

The biggest reason why I'd play O'Sullivan is the 49ers are playing the Lions. I think the game will be a shoot out. That's number 1. And I think Mike Martz really wants to stick it to his former team. And I mean put up crazy numbers on them. And show them that O'Sullivan, a former Lion, is real good.

I think the 49ers will be able to do anything vs. the Lions. Frank Gore will run wild. And O'Sullivan should hit 300 yards and a couple TD's.

As a Niners fan id say go with Manning...hes due to have a crazy good game. Det is pretty bad but O'Sullivan fumbles a lot and tends to make bad throws. He played decent in only the second half of the SEA game and looked awful against an ARZ team that is nothing special....AB is the one position I would say you always pick consistency over projected stats.

I would go with JT O'Sullivan. He will be playing against Detroit. Detroit has a really weak defense. Their secondary has given up so many long TD passes the past two weeks against Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers. I would def go with JT!

its a tough decision. manning is hands down one of the best in the league but his ailing knee just aint cuttin it right now. hes due for a big game, but osullivan and the martz passing game is reeediculous. go with osullivan this week against a week detroit defense, martz will want to put up big numbers against his old team. sorry peyton, ur still great brother.

you always go with manning, no matter what hes done, or who else you have, his fantasy value is still through the roof. manning will always be a fantasy stud. his problem is his oline is hurt, but dallas clark will be back giving him another strong target....go with peyton

good luck
