I think this is a bad idea. I have weekly payout in all of my leagues, the purpose of which is to reward teams for maintaining a good roster for the entire year (even if they've been eliminated from the playoffs). We all know that once a team has no shot at the championship they start to slack, and awarding a weekly prize which encourages the management of the entire roster is a good way to avoid that problem.
Rewarding just a single position, or weird stat goals, just adds more randomness to the award and teams will find that in most cases they won't be rewarded for actively managing their teams. For instance, if I'm 2-7 and the weekly reward is going to the best kicker, I have no incentive to troll the waiver for improve the rest of my roster.

The idea is certainly unique. Maybe the person who wins by the biggest margin, or maybe the most total TDs in a week, team with most yards on scoring plays...so if we each have 3 TDs but mine are 2 1-yd goal line scores and a 10 yards pass, I only have 12 yards and you have a 50 yard bomb, 12 yard run, and 25 yard passing TD..you win. Idk..just some thoughts. Interesting idea though.

I am owed $100 and they say its 10-14 days after the completion of the sports regular season. So even tho the fantasy season in yahoo ended week 16 the season won't end till week 17. Then you have to account that New Years plays a role because thats a business day(s) thats taken away. Its the 5th now, the season ended on the 29th. Thats only like 3 business days I think.
