So I think I need SP more than a slugger to make my push to try and move into the top 3 in the standings.

Right now here is the top 5 in my 14 man league

1- 110
2- 100
3- 99
4- 95
5- 93
ME - 84

The Price/Wainwright owner is 10th and near the bottom in HR/RBI so I am thinking of offering Adrian Gonzalez for Wainwright, I have such a man crush on him anyway.

Here is my team, would this do more good than harm? I guess I cold slide Ike into my CI spot.

I am 4th in HR and RBI at the moment, but 10th in ERA and 12th in WHIP, 3rd in wins and 6th in K's

Before you offer a trade, what does this guy need? Does he need a 1B? While I like Wainright over Gonzalez, you really are thin in your reserves. When you move Davis to 1B, who willbe your U? Tabata? Weak.

Look at his roster and see his weakest spot, your starting lineup is strong, but I'll bet he has a bench player stronger than yours and you might want to try to switch bench players also.

If you can get Wainwright for Gonzalez, do it ASAP. Wainwright is one of the best 3 or 4 pitchers in baseball while Gonzalez is probably around number 8 or 9 among 1B. Elite starters are just tougher to come by and Wainwright is absolutely elite.

I would make the trade as you already have Howard at 1st and he normally goes on a tear in the 2nd half. Your rotation could use a guy like Wainwright. It is a risk, but a risk I would take. If Gonzo was not stuck in PETCO, I would say no. But he is. Make the trade.
