Question:
Would k/9(strikeouts per nine innings) be a good or bad stat to use in place of complete games?

Right now my legaue is a 10 team league 8x8 scoring. The categories I have are the following:

hitting: ba, hrs, sb, r, rbis, obp, xbh, tb

pitching: w, qs, svs, hlds, era, whip, k, cg.

I'm thinking of replacing cg with another category maybe k/9 instead.

Use FIP.

Sabermetric dudes are using this stat to truly determine how good a pitcher is, and not ERA. I doubt fantasy leagues have it yet, but sooner or later they will.

Ricky Davis could be an obtrusive clarification why shouldnt look at stats.(look on the video hyperlink). Ripping off a triple double. Zack Randolph gets those 20/10 numbers, yet hes no Tim Duncan. no longer solid with steals/blocks or passing the ball. Underrated adult men comprise: Tayshaun Prince, who in no way places up jaw dropping variety, yet is a huge place participant to have. Can flow the ball nicely, despite if he doesnt finally end up with the help. Many 6th adult men are underrated via stats. turn Murray have performed plenty for the Hawks in minimum time. Ginobli too. provide Manu the comparable time on the court docket as a robust start up, Manu aspects you 24 ppgs a game.

K/9 is much better than CG. But you are already using Ks so it is redundant. Most categories past six are.

Good luck.

Seems redundant in comparison to the already existing K category... I've never managed a league so I don't know what stats or configurations are available and what is not.

How about a no hit (NH) category? ALL pitchers get 1 point for every inning they do not allow a hit... It could be our most explosive category... lol I dunno.

Also thanks for changing the draft time I really do appreciate it...

I'm not a fan, especially when you already have K's.
