Do these players just go on the waiver? Are they just lost forever? Or is it first come first served?

The players from teams who dont make the playoff stay on that persons team they are still owned and unable to be picked up or anything else.Just like in real football if the bucs go to the superbowl they can pick up say Manning or anyone else who may be not going.

The top 4 teams (or however many your league has set) play in the last few weeks to determine the league winner. Some leagues have 2 week matchups for the playoffs, others have one. So generally weeks 14-17 is used for fantasy football playoffs. The teams that don't make it go into a consolidation ladder. For example, if the top 4 teams make playoffs, the 5 and 6 play, and 7 and 8 play and so on. If the 7 beats the 8, then it would take on the winner of the 5 and 6. So if you win, you move up, lose, move down. The point there is to determine the 5th,6th, 7th and so on teams. Also, if there are 4 teams in the playoffs, the two teams that win first round play, and the two teams that lose first round play, to determine the 1,2,3,4 standings. The flaw here is that sometimes teams rest their starters weeks 16-17, and this sometimes ruins fantasy playoffs good luck

The fantasy football season ends before the real life playoffs start. If you are talking about the Fantasy football players then the players remain on all the teams they were on before the playoffs start. The stats still count so if anyone drops a player, someone in the playoffs could benefit if theypick him up.

Well I think we will just have to be in the Fantasy Football Loosing League where we just get seated in the Fantasy Football Stadium Stands When one wishes to be in the playoffs. LOL

They stay on the same team. But a few years ago, a few people with teams that did not make the playoffs, decided to dump all of their players. It was like a pack of lions attacking the meat. Everyone was frantically trying to pick up the best players. It was was amazing.....

most teams will still have a playoff spot but the only top 4 play for the championship so they stay on the other teams unless the other team owners drop them wich allot of owners do. but they will still keep thier teams if they don't

They are off the market. You should still be able to pick up on the waiver wire
