Yahoo in a way gives a preseason ranking.Look at available players in your league.Notice there are two rankings.O-Rank is off season rank, and is where they think the player will finish this year.Rank is where they finished last year.

In the MLB website.... www.mlb.com you look under fantasy in the red link bar, and then click on 2006 Fantasy Preview. That is the best preview that I have found in the last several years. It is very current and even breaks the players down by position with stats and a small paragraph about what to expect from them. There is also a Top 100 ranking and a Prospect ranking. I LOVE to play Yahoo Fantasy, but I get my info from MLB.
I buy the Sporting News Fantasy Guide, but only for entertainment and some interesting articles. The thing about this source of info is that it is old and many player often change teams after it is written.

The "Sporting News" just released their 2006 baseball preview. It has over 500 scouting reports. I am reading it now.
