In ESPN fantasy football, can I leave a slot empty for a week?

Don't have a TE on my Roster at all. Don't really want to drop a player yet, and think I can win without one. Unless it's an automatic forfeit. This is just a standard league.

Yes you can leave it empty, I just wouldnt recommend it. But you should find a TE, look at it this way

A starting TE will get you more points than those "sleepers" or "projects" are going to get you sitting on your bench. just drop one and get it a TE

Well a good reason for doing this would be the situation I am currently in. ALL of my opponents players have played and I am up one point with just my TE to play Monday night. Seeing as I have already won the game there is no benefit to have him play. He can however fumble and then perhaps get hurt in which case I would lose by one. Can I simply leave the TE slot empty or would I be DQ
