It sounds like he's trying to fleece you. I'm confused why you even want to make a trade. Ryan Braun is a top 20 talent who might end up as a top 10 guy by year's end. You already have Santana and some other good young pitching options.



I wouldn't trade Braun unless you get Peavy in the deal.

Well.. You're probably gonna have the most luck trying to get C.C. Sabathia. He got off to a horrible start, but he's done well in his past 3 outings. You can probably get him for a very low price.

Marcum for Sabathia, straight up, might work if you're willing to take the risk.



Peavy's obviously your best bet, though. What will be tough is prying him away from the other team.



By the way, so far Marcum's only allowed 2 hits/0 runs in the CLE vs TOR game.. It's in the 7th inning right now. Cliff Lee vs Shaun Marcum.. This could go to extra innings. Marcum could be this year's Tim Linecum.. Then again, so could Cliff Lee. lol
