im kinda stuggling with my pitching right now and there are a few different situations i could go with. lemme know what you think is the best for my team. heres my current lineup:

jeremy bonderman (DL)
carlos zambrano
cliff lee
tim hudson
chad gaudin
jason bergmann
jj putz
chris ray
matt capps

i was looking at dropping bergmann and capps. on the waiver i was kinda struggling on who to pick. jorge sosa of the mets. plays for a good team, but he tends to be streaky. hes hott right now and im not sure if i should ride his hott streak. also there is shaun marcum. i have him on a few of my other teams and hes been pretty good for me. he plays for toronto and i dont know alot about them so idk. i just proposed this trade as well. i give nick swisher and carlos zambrano, i get josh willingham and dan haren. im loaded at the OF position. johnny damon, nick swisher, jeff francouer, jack cust, nick markakis, shane victorino.

lemme know what i should do! thanks!

Well you starters are just fine. Congrats on picking up Gaudin as he's doing well this year. Just wait til he gets some run support and some wins. Don't give up on Zambrano just yet. He starts out slow every year and eventually will start to come around. Especially if the Cubs are making a run at the post-season.

I like the trade offer but I'd offer Hudson with Swisher instead of Zambrano. Hudson a "sell-high" guy right now because he probably keep the pace he's on now.

Also check the FA for Tim Lincecum. He got called up for SF a week or two ago and is gunna start tearing hitters apart.

The only probalem i really see is your closer situation.

Putz and Ray haven't been doin s--t this year. So i like the idea of dropping Capps and Bergmann. Check to see if RP Accardo - TOR is available. id pick him up before marcum because he's in line to be the closer over there. Hope this helps!

I agree, don't give up Zambrano yet. He's cold right now put I think he will get back on track. What I would do is trade Jack Cust for a pitcher. I know he is hot right now but he will not stay that way. Remember Chris Shelton from last year. He hit like 12 HR in april. Every one traded to get him and he ended the year with a .265 AVG and like 20 HR. Get a decent pitcher for Cust before he cools off.

I like picking up Fausto Carmona for Bergman, but definitely if Lincecum or James Shields are still out there they are better options. It's true Capps won't do much for you. Try to grab Accardo, and otherwise make yourself privy to all things in the closer job market, there's bound to be an actual closer for your team out there either now or in the coming weeks.

Cancel that trade; you're getting the less-proven guy on both sides.
